Jason Cunningham

Here is what we know about Nicole Diane Harrington, the woman allegedly killed by businessman and former RCSO Deputy Jason “Moose” Cunningham early Thursday in Augusta:

  • Nicole was 37 years old, and lived in Hallandale Beach, Florida, according to Coroner Mark Bowen.
  • She went by “Nicci Grabowski” on Facebook, according to her friends.
  • Nicole had three children, according to a friend from the Miami area. Stella Cena Columbia posted this on Thursday: Omg Nicci Grabowski, we shared so many good times birthdays, showers, holidays, u were always the life of the party I’m still in shock just thinking that all 3 of ur kids will grow up without u 😪may u rest in eternal peace and always look out for ur kids R.I.P”
  • Authorities are investigating reports that Cunningham had a relationship with the woman. She had met up with Cunningham in Augusta overnight.
  • WGAC’s Austin Rhodes reports that Cunningham told the cops that he didn’t mean to kill Nicole and was only trying to “scare her” with the gun. (Cunningham surrendered after an hours-long standoff in Columbia County on Thursday.)
  • She was found dead on the third floor of the Parking Deck at 9th Street and Reynolds Street in Augusta.  She was pronounced dead on the scene at 6:40 a.m.
  • An autopsy is scheduled at the GBI Lab on Friday.
