WHO KILLED JOHNDRICK? Body of Shooting Victim Found on Augusta Road

-

The body of a teen shooting victim was found Friday morning in the middle of an Augusta street, authorities said.

Johndrick Oliphant, 19, was shot at least once, and his body was found by deputies on the 4200 block of Stone Road. Chief Deputy Coroner Kenneth Boose Sr. pronounced him dead at 11:05 a.m. Friday.

No information on possible suspects or a motive was released by the sheriff’s office as the investigation was in its initial phase. An autopsy is scheduled at the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta.

The coroner’s office was working Friday afternoon to find out the teen’s city of residence.
