-

Dobey Arrest PhotoIn this week’s edition of The Jail Report, disturbing questions are raised about the military record of Edgefield County Sheriff Adell Dobey and a possible arrest that may have ended the lawman’s military career.

In the print edition of the paper, we share what the U.S. Department of Defense has to say about Sheriff Dobey’s military record in the U.S. Marines. Those records directly contradict previous claims that the sheriff served his country for two years. In fact, they detail questions about whether he may have been discharged after a year because of a possible arrest in 1970.
