Why is This Aiken Man So Bloody in His Mugshot? His Charges Provide a Clue…

-

Corey Solomon, 30, of Aiken, was arrested in Richmond County on Sunday night.

Solomon was allegedly driving under the influence of drugs when a deputy tried to pull him over. According to his charges, Solomon drove recklessly as he led the officer on a chase. His license was suspended and he had no insurance and no tag. Plus, he was wanted by other authorities.

It appears the suspect wrecked, causing the injuries. Solomon was charged with DUI – drugs, driving while license suspended, fleeing police, reckless driving, no insurance charge, improper tag transfer, no tag, and failure to maintain lane.

He has a history of previous arrests in Aiken County, including charges of assault & battery, possession of a stolen pistol, malicious injury to property and disorderly conduct.

Here is what the jail is saying about his new charges and his bond on Monday morning. It looks like he will not be able to bond out since he is wanted by other authorities.
