Woman, 60, is Accused of Sex Acts with Boy, 12, in Aiken County; She was Serving as His Guardian

-

A 60-year-old woman was charged Tuesday with multiple sex crimes that accuse her of having a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old boy.

Sara Williams, of White Pond Road, Williston, was the boy’s guardian when the sex acts occurred in Aiken County between June and October, sheriff’s authorities said.

DSS officials found out about the allegations and met with the child Oct. 20 at the home where he had been placed by social workers. He confessed that the allegations were true, according to an Aiken County sheriff’s report.

According to warrants, Williams gave and received oral sex from the boy. She also engaged in sexual intercourse with him. Williams was charged with six counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted, help is available. Call the hotline 800-656-HOPE (4673). This is the number for RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization.
