Victim Logan Etterle, former Harlem High football payer

Columbia County authorities have now arrested a gunman and his girlfriend for aggravated assault in Saturday’s shooting at Circle K in Evans.

Julius Nathan Williams, 19, and girlfriend Jordan Renee Stevens, 18, are both charged in the weekend shooting of 19-year-old Logan Etterle of Appling. The victim was shot three times by Williams after an argument at the gas pumps.

Logan Etterle had pulled up to the gas pumps along with his friend Jalen Quinton Anderson, 19, of Evans. They encountered a gray Toyota Camry occupied by Stevens and Williams.

Julius Williams, 19, Aggravated assault, weapon possession

“Both Logan and Julius have had bad blood about Julius mistreating Jordan, who is Julius’ girlfriend,” Maj. Rick Whitaker said in a press release.

“Logan got out of the car and an argument ensued. Julius got out of the car with a semi auto pistol in his hand. Logan asked, ‘Oh are you going to shoot me now?’ and Julius fired two shots at him, hitting him in the arm and abdomen.

“Logan then jumped back in the passenger seat of his car and Julius followed him and fired one more round at him through the side window. Julius then got back into his vehicle and fled the scene with Jordan driving.”

Jordan Stevens, 18, Aggravated assault

Multiple witnesses were at the scene at the time of the shooting. The victim was transported to Doctors Hospital, where he required surgery.

Stevens and Williams are being held on charges of aggravated assault and weapon possession.
