-

Two months after a heavy-set man assaulted two people inside of the Discotheque Lounge in downtown Augusta, authorities have released a photo of the suspect.

The man is wanted for assaulting a man who was half his size, punching him or hitting him with something as the Discotheque Lounge bar was closing May 1, a sheriff’s report says. The suspect is wanted for aggravated battery. He is described in a wanted poster as 6’05” tall, 300 pounds, bald, with a dark colored beard with slight graying in the chin area.

This subject is currently wanted for aggravated battery. Any information concerning this individual, please contact Inv. Lucas Heise or any Violent Crimes Investigator with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1451 or 821-1080.
