An Aiken County man was arrested Tuesday on charges that he possessed several videos on his Apple iPhone showing children involved in sex acts.
Eduardo Rueda-Juarez, 32, of Carolina Bay Trail, Monetta, was charged with five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree.
A search warrant was served at his residence this week and Aiken County sheriff’s officials found child porn videos on his phone, including:
- A girl age 8-10 displaying her genitalia for the camera.
- An adult female performing oral sex on a juvenile male age 5-7.
- Three girls ages 10-12 engaging in sex with a boy age 10-12.
- An adult male having sex with a girl age 11-13.
- An adult male having sex with a girl age 9-11.
According to South Carolina statutes, an individual commits the offense of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor if, knowing the character or content of the material, he possesses material that contains a visual representation of a minor engaging in sexual activity. A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be imprisoned not more than ten years, the law says.
