Augusta Couple Charged in Shaken Baby Case; Infant is 3 Months Old

An Augusta couple have been charged with child cruelty after allegedly shaking their 3-month-old infant this week.

Parents Zeric Wideman, 20, and Kastarra Lawrence, 21, are  accused of shaking the infant, causing hemorrhaging and brain bleeding at their home on Lumpkin Road in Augusta. Both are charged with cruelty to children in the first degree.
