Augusta Man Poses as U.S. Marshal Inside Harbor Inn Seafood, Police Say

-

A homeless man with an interesting hairstyle tried to pose Sunday as a U.S. Marshal, authorities said.

Justin Ryan Davis, 33, allegedly walked into the kitchen of Harbor Inn Seafood on Wrightsboro Road, according to an arrest warrant.

“(He) stated that he was looking for a particular individual and identified himself as being a United States Marshal with the intent to mislead another person,” the warrant says.

It didn’t work. They called the cops and Davis was charged Monday with impersonating a public officer or employee. He has a history of arrests, including trespassing and hiding on a train.
