Fight Erupts on Field at Tutt-Langford Game at ARC Stadium

-

Richmond County school officials say that they are continuing to investigate a fight between opposing players at Tuesday night’s game between Tutt and Langford middle schools.

The game, at the Richmond Academy Stadium, erupted into a bit of chaos on the field. A video shows fists between thrown and lots of shoving as a few coaches try to break it up.

In a statement, school district spokesperson Keisa Gunby said, “At the conclusion of the Langford and Tutt Middle Schools game, there was an altercation between the student-athletes on the opposing teams. An investigation is underway to identify the students involved and what consequences will result. No injuries were reported and arrests were made.”
