Wrong-Way Driver Jailed in December Crash

-

The wrong-way driver accused of critically injuring two people on River Watch Parkway in December has finally been arrested, The Jail Report has learned.

Monique Sullivan, 31, was booked into the Richmond County Jail on Thursday night on charges with two counts of serious injury by vehicle x2, driving on the wrong side of roadway and reckless driving. She remains in jail under no bond.

Sullivan is accused of causing serious injury to 32-year-old Amelia Hiltz and Augusta lawyer Maureen Floyd, 52. Sullivan was driving a Suburban driver Dec. 10 when she crashed into three vehicles after driving west in the eastbound lanes for three miles at a high speed, authorities say.

At one point after the wreck, she was described as uncooperative.
