Exclusive: Woman Drives Drunk on Augusta National

How drunk is drunk?

A North Augusta woman turned into Gate 6 of Augusta National Golf Club this week and didn’t stop before driving on club grass, striking club signs, and speeding on the club property.

Page Mariam Hall, 51, of Leigh Place Driver, North Augusta, was charged with DUI and criminal trespass after the incident at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. (The Jail Report just obtained the sheriff’s report Friday).

Hall allegedly drove to Gate 6 on Berckmans Road just after midnight Tuesday and ignored verbal warnings from two security guards to stop as she drove onto the club property, according to the Richmond County sheriff’s report.

“The suspect was driving recklessly through the property, striking signs and speeding on the property,” the report says.

A sheriff’s deputy and Augusta National officers were able to get Hall stopped and immediately smelled alcohol in her car, a 2013 Nissan Altima.

“The image was captured on the security camera at Augusta National Golf Club,” the sheriff’s report says.

Hall was booked into the Richmond County Jail and later released on bond. No one answered her phone when contacted tonight.
