Augusta Burglar Breaks Store Window With Concrete to Steal Cigs & Vapes

Richmond County authorities are searching for this suspect for allegedly throwing a concrete block through the window of a Walton Way convenience store early Saturday to steal tobacco and vape products.

The hooded and masked suspect hit the Chevron Store at 912 Walton Way around 3 a.m. Saturday. He smashed the glass on the front door window. Authorities describe him as a Black male wearing a black sweat shirt, black and red pants, black and white shoes, with a black mask covering most of his face.

Using a clothes basket, the suspect went behind the register area where the tobacco products were located and scooped up multiple tobacco items into his clothes basket, a sheriff’s report says. He also grabbed multiple tobacco rolling papers, before exiting.
