Augusta Man Killed in Overnight Shooting on Sycamore Drive

-

Richmond County authorities are investigating a shooting death from overnight near Fox Den Apartments.

A man was shot early Thursday on Sycamore Drive and Alpine Road. He was shot at least once and pronounced dead at 2:03 a.m. Thursday, Coroner Mark Bowen said.

He was identified as 22-year-old Thaddeus Rodregus Price of the 2300 block of Woodsman Drive, the coroner said.

An autopsy has been scheduled. No arrests or suspects have been announced by the sheriff’s office.

He was already being remembered online.  “You have my heart in pieces, a hurt I never felt before I love you so much cousin,” Ashley Elam said on Facebook.
