The Coroner’s Office is investigating a shooting death that occurred Friday night on the 2400 block of Highway 88 in Hephzibah.
The victim was transported to Augusta University Medical Center by EMS where he was pronounced dead at 7:08 p.m. Friday, Coroner Mark Bowen said.
An autopsy will be conducted at the GBI Lab.
The next of kin has been notified. The victim is 54 year old Dennis Adams from Millen, Georgia.
