Two Windsor residents were killed and one injured Saturday afternoon after a head-on collision between two vehicles on Williston Road near Beech Island.

The driver of a 2020 Kia SUV, identified as 52-year-old Angela Hancock, and a front seat passenger, identified as 46-year-old Eric Sargent, were pronounced deceased on the scene from injuries sustained in the accident, Coroner Darryl Ables said.

“A 2020 Kia SUV was traveling west on Williston Road when the vehicle crossed the centerline and was struck by an east bound 2012 Toyota Camry,” Ables said in a press release. “The driver of the Toyota was transported to the hospital in serious condition.”

The Coroner’s Office along with South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing with the investigation, Ables said.

Hancock, who goes by Angie D Leopard on Facebook, was being mourned Saturday night by friends and family on social media.

Amy Barton Boothe said, “Angie, I just received news that I cannot fathom! I cannot come to terms that you are really gone!! I just seen you at Hobby Lobby!! If only I would have known that was gona be the last time that I would ever see you again and get to talk to you!! We hugged, and you loved so BIG!! I will forever remember you!! RIP my friend and I know your Dancing In the Sky!!! My heart is completely broken.”

Others expressed grief for Hancock’s children and grandchildren. According to her Facebook page, she just got engaged five days ago to Sargent, who had been working for a rebar fabrication shop.
