-

Here is your first look at Nicklaus Wilson, the 32-year-old Augusta man who was fatally shot early Monday outside the Waffle House on Gordon Highway. (Above picture)

Andrew Gaines, 31 (pictured below), is wanted in connection with the overnight shooting death outside the Gordon Highway restaurant that took the life of Wilson. It took place just before 2 a.m. Monday.

Gaines was last seen driving a stolen 2018 Kia Sportage. That vehicle has since been located by authorities, but Gaines has not been found at the time of this posting.

“Gaines is considered to be Armed and Dangerous,” a RCSO wanted poster says. “Andrew Gaines does have active warrants with this agency at this time.”

Anyone that comes in contact with Gaines or has any information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact Sgt. Chris Langford or any on call Investigator at the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at 706-821-1083 or 706-821-1020.
