Gun Found Near Man in Evans Deaths; Case Believed to be a Murder-Suicide

-

Columbia County authorities have identified the man and woman whose bodies were found Tuesday morning at an Evans home.

Olivia Ford, 27, was found in the front yard of the residence at 542 Pheasant Run Drive with a gunshot wound to her head. Kerry White, 31, was found inside the residence with a gunshot wound to his head. The gun was found near him.

“The initial investigation points to a murder/suicide supported by audio from a neighbor’s camera,” sheriff’s Maj. Steve Morris said in a press release. “Both lived at this residence. The investigation is still on going.”

Both were arrested at the same time in June 2020 for solicitation or transport for prostitution in Richmond County, but Ford had a listed address in Charleston, S.C., at the time. After his arrest, White had the Evans address where the deaths occurred.
