Hephzibah Mom Jailed After Explicit Video of Daughter Ends Up Online

-

A Hephzibah mother was arrested Wednesday on allegations that a sexually-explicit video of her 9-year-old daughter ended up online, authorities said.

Emily Jo Anne Weathers, 27, was charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes, as well as a violation of the Computer Pornography & Child Exploitation Prevention Act.

According to authorities, the mother made a video of her daughter in the bathroom fully nude and showing her privates. The video ended up online, leading to a report to law enforcement.

The date of offense is listed as Friday, and she was arrested this week on the Richmond County warrants. She was being held Wednesday night at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center under no bond.

Weathers also has a warrant from other authorities, according to jail records. The young mother has two previous arrests in McDuffie County, including one for DUI.
