Lipstick Lover Wanted for Stealing Merchandise from Martinez Youth Clothing Store

Columbia County authorities are asking for your help in identifying a woman who is wanted for stealing items last week from a youth clothing store in Martinez.

Stephen Byrd, owner of N Bee Tween on Furys Ferry Road told authorities that video surveillance showed the white female walking around the store last Wednesday. She allegedly placed $146 in merchandise in her purse and a tube of lipstick in her back pocket. She left left without paying, a sheriff’s report says.

In a second unrelated case, a woman’s identity is being sought for a shoplifting at the Evans Walmart on Friday night.

The suspect allegedly pushed out a shopping cart with approximately $300 worth of merchandise without paying for it. She left in a light green Mercury Grand Marquis sedan.
