Suspect Takes Pills Left Behind by Circle K Customer in Martinez

-

Columbia County authorities are looking for these suspects for a pill theft.

Here is what CCSO said about the thefts:

On 09/23/21 at 2:58 a.m., a white male and a black male arrive at the Circle K located at 190 Baston Road in a blue sedan and park at the pumps. The two suspects enter the store. While the two suspects are in line they notice the victim loading personal items into a bag that was just handed to him by the clerk.

The victim walks outside leaving two prescription pill bottles on the counter. The suspects pick up the pill bottles and read them. While the suspects are looking at the pill bottles, the victim is waiting outside for a ride. The suspects put the pill bottles back onto the counter and leave at 3:03 a.m.

They drive back through the parking lot at 3:06 a.m., look at the victim standing in front of the store, and continue onto Baston Road. They drive back into the parking lot at 3:12 a.m. and the white suspect enters the store and picks up the pill bottles.

The store clerk stated that the white male is a regular in the store and they only know him as Matthew.

If you can help, please call the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office at 706-541-2800.
