Warrenville Boy, 7, Struck by Car & Killed While Riding Bicycle

The Aiken County Coroner’s Office is reporting the death of seven-year-old Bryson Mikell of Warrenville.

Bryson was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a vehicle, Coroner Darryl Ables said in a press release.

The incident took place at approximately 6:35 p.m. Saturday on Chaffee Street at Ralph Greene Drive in Warrenville.  Bryson and his brother were riding their bicycles on Ralph Greene Drive. As Bryson attempted to cross Chaffee Street, he was struck by the vehicle.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning in Newberry. The S.C. Highway Patrol and MAIT is continuing the investigation.
